On November 20th, 1998, a successful merger between Rudduck Australia Pty Ltd and Sykes Drench (Australia) created a new company Sykes Vet International   In the following five years two other leading Australian brands have joined the Sykes portfolio.  Pottie's Blue Cross and Vetex products are now produced by Sykes Vet International.

Sykes Vet International is an Australian owned and operated company, whose principals as well as being involved in pharmaceuticals, have been involved in stud cattle, fine wool and the horse industry for many generations.  "As people of the land, we understand the needs of the farmer because we use our products on our own stock," John White, CEO said.  "We are proud that our products have evolved over the years with Australian farmers".

Sykes Vet International produces a broad range of animal health products for cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry, horses, cats, dogs and other animals.  These include antiseptics, anthelmintics, vitamin, mineral and electrolyte supplements and other remedies to assist in animal health care. 

Sykes Vet International has recently developed several key strategic alliances to ensure valuable research and development expenditure is channelled to develop new products, promoting health and well being for all animals.
