Testimonial

I just wanted to write to say how impressed I am with the Pottie’s Green Ointment.  Having grown up on a dairy farm I am very familiar with Pottie’s White Ointment, which my family has used exclusively for treating cracked teats in our milking herd (my Dad also uses it for treating cracked hands!!). Almost 12 months ago I bought a welsh pony gelding who was "itchy". He was on poor feed and had a terrible dry coat. His itching became so bad at one point that he had two bald patches either side of his tail with raw skin. After trying everything that was suggested to me by people "experienced" with QLD itch ranging from herbal treatments (these ranged from $20 to over $60, some only lasting one month) to various insect repellents etc nothing worked. Some things I believe just made it worse, and having a sensitive pony convincing him to stand still and be sprayed with stinking repellents was near impossible and too upsetting to him.

Enter Pottie’s Green Ointment. I had literally had enough and was on the point of selling him to NSW or Victoria just to help him stop itching. I went to my local saddlery and after looking through all the varying products on offer decided I had nothing to lose by trying the Green Ointment. Within two days I saw a huge improvement. I rubbed the ointment onto any bare patches and rubbed areas. Not only was the rub marks reduced, his coat was growing back and he loves having the ointment put on!! I am very happy to report his coat has grown back, he has no bald patches and best of all his coat grew back brown!! I had been expecting it the come back white due to the damage caused by the itching. He is now at the point where I do not have to apply the ointment daily or indeed weekly. He occasionally has a flare up which is quickly soothed by the ointment.

I am looking forward to trying the Pottie’s Shampoo and Coat Conditioner!!

Thank you
