Product Description
Pottie's Stockholm Tar is a pure Pine Tar - a dark brown or nearly black viscous bituminous liquid with a characteristic odour and taste. Very slightly soluble in water. It is obtained by the distillation of trees of the Pinus sylvestris family.

Stockholm Tar has been used for its antipruiritic properties in the treatment of skin disorders such as corns, quarter cracks, split hooves and heels. It has also been used to encourage elasticity of the hoof and maintain flexibility of the tissue.

Storage
Store in airtight container. If stored for some time, the tar may separate into layers.

Directions for use
Stir well before use. Apply with brush or sponge to affected parts.
• Horses - Apply to cracked hooves to seal & prevent further cracking.
• Sheep - Apply to cuts to seal the wound
• Cattle - Apply after dehorning to stop bleeding.
