Product Description
Scours is a major problem in pigs and can be caused by many different
organisms. Scours can lead to bowel damage, which results in the loss of
large amounts of body fluid into the gut. Scours can cause dehydration,
electrolyte imbalance, energy depletion, growth retardation and shock,
which may even result in death. Scours can also create an unhygienic
environment which can lead to the spread of bacteria and disease.
Mega-Lyte for Pigs contains nutrients and
electrolytes which, when administered to pigs supplies glucose and
replenishes sodium and chloride to pigs when levels are low. Mega-Lyte for
Pigs restores balance to the digestive system, assists in hydration and
prevention of any further fluid loss.
Mega-Lyte for Pigs is best used when
weaning piglets or at other times when dehydration is likely to occur.

Storage
Store below 30oC, in a dry place away from light. Re-seal
immediately after use.
Directions
Add 4kg of Mega-lyte for pigs to 100 litres of drinking water. Use for 3
to 5 days at this dilution rate at weaning time or other periods when
dehydration may occur, then reduce to 2kg per 100 litres of drinking water
for 2-3 days. Use clean drinking water and equipment. Dissolve by
stirring.
