Product Description   
Embryo transfer is a technique of assisted reproduction which increases the reproductive capacity of cattle in terms of the number of offspring per cow per year; decreases the generation interval; allows faster evaluation and selection of the best specimens; easier shipment of genetic material (with no risk of disease transmission) and allows infertile cows (as a consequence of trauma, of an early or old age or due to certain diseases), to reproduce.  

Pluset - the tool allowing predictable and successful superovulation. Pluset contains follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) extracted from porcine pituitary glands. Since these are naturally occurring glycoprotein hormones and all systems associated with the metabolism exist in the body, no new metabolic, transport, excretory or any other systems need to be established by the body to metabolise or excrete Pluset .

The procedure for obtaining FSH and LH hormones consists of extractions with solvent and fractional precipitations. Pituitary glands are certified virus-free and the extraction is validated against any microbial contamination. To ensure final product quality, the FSH fraction is analysed for FSH and LH activity, and the same for LH. The final product is a mixture of both fractions, in an adequate proportion to maintain the ratio of FSH:LH at 1:1.

Administration:
The injection of Pluset must be intramuscular. Subcutaneous administration results in an irregular absorption and must be avoided.

Preparation:
Box containing 2 vials of Pluset with 500IU of FSH and 500IU of LH each, as well as a vial with 20mL of sterile, apyrogenic, physiological solution. To be used only under Veterinary prescription.

Storage
Store below 25^oC (air conditioning), in a dry place away from light.
